Surprisingly little frog noises, but lots of birds for sure

a great egret wades in the shallows of a lake. The foreground are the grasses of the shores, leading to the algae covers waters that the birds stalks. Behind are the tall grasses and weeping willows that give the Lake of the Isles in Minneapolis some extra charm.

Trees that were once on ground are now in water due to erosion. This is at Monkey Island NC in the Currituck Sound. There are remains of a bulkhead that was against land but now is out in water, showing that a large portion of the island is gone.
