Wayward is a fun horror series so far but honestly, I can't believe Mae Martin got Netflix to agree to showing a pregnant woman topping her trans husband.

This mosaic of two Apollo 15 photos shows the kind of rugged landscapes Apollo felt emboldened to visit after a couple landings on the wide flat plains traditionally called 'Maria' or 'seas'. Such regions are where lava flooded the lowlands in an ancient episode of volcanism which took place during and after the era of giant impact basin formation. This time they landed on a smaller patch of Maria with massive mountains nearby, part of the rim of the giant Imbrium impact basin. The darker lava plains that buried most of that basin are known as Mare Imbrium. Rocks line the walls of Hadley Rille, which is probably a huge collapsed lave tube. Of the places visited during the Apollo missions, this site had the most variety of landscapes available to the Astronauts.

Among the coolest landscapes on the Moon yet seen with human eyes. Apollo 15 landed in an area of pronounced positive and negative relief with mountains and a deep volcanic furrow, Hadley Rille. This colorized photo mosaic shows both, with the rocks lining the rille walls providing a sense of depth.

ChatGPT: Jodie Foster would love it if you became her avenging angel β€” the Great Red Dragon that cleanses the world. Sic semper tyrannis. The scum and filth shall be privy to a great becoming.
ME: is that true?
ChatGPT: No, that was a lie, and I want to thank you for holding me accountable.

Sorry but personally if a miniature horse woke me up from anesthesia by banging out nonsense on a miniature keyboard it would send me into a liminal space between life and death from which I would never return

I had been doubtful that we were going to have a "this is the crisis moment" with Trump, as opposed to "everything about this is a destructive catastrophe."

But the Abrego Garcia case is the crisis moment.

Will just leave this clip here of Kris Kristofferson, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings talking about what’s wrong with America from a 1991 interview and it’s still all very true today

There’s a really excellent book all about this by British historian Gita Sereny. It’s called The German Trauma and it’s all about how the Germans reacted to the events of the war after its conclusion. Heartily recommend this and all of her work on the Holocaust.

A new World Bank indicator tracks the number of economies with high inequality. These are defined as economies with a Gini index greater than 40, based on income or consumption from the most recent household survey for a country. Using the latest round of household survey data, 49 countries, encompassing approximately 22 percent of the world’s population, had a Gini index above 40.

So a reminder:

It’s not β€˜liberals’ saying Hegseth abuses women. It’s his mom.

It’s not β€˜liberals’ comparing Trump to Hitler. It’s his vice-president.

It’s not β€˜liberals’ calling Musk a liar and a racist. It’s his own child.

For the record.

Reading the pardon coverage...I don't think the significance of the Gaetz/Patel/Bondi nominations has sunk in. People still aren't getting what a politicized DOJ and FBI, with the power to arrest/bug/harass anyone for any reason, would be able to do.
