Living in North Carolina and working in healthcare I can also confirm that many of these MAGA followers benefit most from these social programs. Many of them simply don't keep up with current events. They have Medicaid and don't know how they got it. They need a rude awakening.

Term limits. Mandatory retirement at age 65. Ban on stock trading for all members of Congress and mandatory transfer of existing assets to blind trust. Publicly funded elections with a cap on individual donations. Reverse Citizens United. Incentivize bipartisanship.

Mitch McConnell voting no on terrible cabinet picks because he doesn’t have to run for reelection is all the proof you need that we must have term limits. You shouldn’t only have a spine because you don’t have to run again. We are breeding chicken shit power hungry electeds.
