I assigned more horny books/texts to my AP Lit students than I read as an undergrad. Wife of Bath, Candide, Orlando (bless my younger self as I had no idea what to do with this one), and enough poetry that one student exclaimed, unprompted, “It’s all sex and death!” I’d be fired for it now.
