I lost my beloved black cat, my good luck charm, almost a week ago. I still miss him terribly. I made a Kid Pix drawing in remembrance.

I got a magnolia tree a few years ago and planted it in the back yard. My best piece of advice is to not run over it with a snow plow. It did survive, but I don't think it helped.

The longest streak I ever got playing the NYT Crossword before this was 12, and that was years ago, so I have no idea how this happened.

As you may well surmise from my feed, I enjoy technology both old and new, but modern AI just doesn't seem to appeal to me. I was looking through some old backups, though, and it appears that I was into AI back then.

Sadly, I'm no USB Whisperer, but there are some tools that might help see what's going on. lsusb for linux or mac, USB Device Tree Viewer for windows.

I suspect the mac is attempting to acquire more horse power to help it compete with newer machines. But we'll never truly know.

But I managed a couple more Kid Pix doodles for #marchintosh on the powerbook. "Bringing a Gift to One's Beau" (nearly the maximum filename character limit) and "Portals" which is the first one to take as long as it looks like.

flash drives are so big for so cheap nowadays that it actually fucks me up. i don't want to put a single text file on a 128gb stick. it's too big. the file is going to get all rattled around and dinged up if i leave it in there by itself

In celebration of putting together a working battery for my Powerbook 170 for #Marchintosh, I used it for today's Kid Pix doodle. That's why it's in black and white.

In celebration of March 15, well, you see the subject matter.
