I feel like a baby who's been taken from their push trike and given a fully manual four wheel drive

My new fancy mouse (the computer variety) arrived today!
I got a good deal on a refurbished Razer Naga with all the programmable side plates
I haven't gotten it set up yet but so far I'm really impressed by the refurbishing, it looks like like new to me and feels really nice to hold

My laptop is pretty good but there really is only so much it can do so the idea that I'd be able to play more intensive games, and not even ONLY steam games, on it with a little box would be incredible accessibility wise

A bit late to the party buy holy shit the Steam Cube sounds insane
I'll see how it pans out but if it's really as good as it sounds I'm definitely gonna get it
My pc is probably about like a decade and a bit old now and with my health I struggle to sit at the desk for long periods

It's also cheaper to just buy a whole knew frame then sourcing the stuff I'd need to fix it which is frustrating
The rest of the bed is fine it's ust oen small part!!!!

A small part of my bed frame has broken but the way the bed frame is contsructed implies that it's repairable
However when I went on the maker's website they explicity tell you they do not sell repair parts and if you aren't under warrantly tstill you're just fucked

My psych prescribed a new medication for me to try for anxiety and it's working really well on that frotn however It has also made me insanely drowsy it feels like when you have the sedative before general aesthetic
I cna't do anything but my anxiety is gone thiugh!

Thank you to everyone for being patient with me for the last little while but especially the last couple of weeks
I'm behind on a lot of things (especially with promoting the zine) but I'm hoping things will be a little better soon as my gum has healed & I got the last of my stitches taken out today

My biggest GridMas achievement was that I found dialogue for Kovac that isn't on the wiki (yet)

Not going to post an end of GridMas screenshot bc it just looks a bit embarrassing
It's hard to give really any proper thoughts on it bc a lot's been going on that was out of my control but that made it difficult to enjoy
I'm looking forward to taking it easy with sailing though

It is kind of funny that so many people are like pre-gaming their shirt wearing though

Been all around town today with appointments and stuff and there are SO many people wearing Metallica shirts in so many different places it was starting to weird me out
But it turns out they're playing in my city tonight lol

Palestinian textiles are incredibly fascinating so honestly I'm extremely excited and honoured to be able to have an authentic one from the last functional factory in Palestine
I hope one day it won't be the last anymore and Palestinian textiles and needlework can flourish again proudly

There's like a rewards card subscription service we have in Aus and one of the main perks is that shipping is free from several stores and I didn't realise until today how cheap it was and I feel kind of shocked at the concept of being able to have any purchase shipped for free no matter how small
