🦋 WELCOME TO BLUESKY! I recommend exploring our custom feeds, which are a little like hashtags but more interesting. We have them for academic and professional subjects, sports, cities, hobbies (e.g., gardening, baking), and many more. Search them in the sidebar under Feeds. 🧵

Oh yeah, for newcomers:
1) check your Moderation settings in the settings! Especially if you want (or don't want) to see adult content

2) use the Feeds feature! Discover is akin to an FYP and there's of specific ones for special interests and communities or special functionalities. It's useful!

To new #BTS #ARMY, here's some Bluesky culture it helps to kno:

1. Using ALT text is default standard - if u don't do it, ur posts are less likely to be seen by ppl in gnrl.

2. We don't give evil posts more exposure w Quotes/Replies, we jst Block.

Here's why we say to block instead of sharing bad actors here.

The important part is that they can't even mention you so no dog piling easily. And also a block removes them from the thread.

It keeps upsetting things from spreading.
