“If Thailand and other neighboring countries want stability in Burma, working with ethnic revolutionary organizations and allies is their best opinion. You can see [Karen State] as an example where the KNU works to bring stability, services, and rule of law to the areas under its control” Zoya added

We call on the Royal Thai government to fully cooperate with the KNU, uphold humanitarian principles, open up the border and allow safe protection and aid for victims. The world must act now. Any delay will result in further unnecessary harm and loss of life.

The Burmese military use foreign jets and bombs to kill civilians. You must stop arms and equipment reaching them. #hilights

But the jets, helicopters, and drones all come from other countries. The fuel they use to fly them comes from abroad. The bombs they drop are purchased using military controlled banks from income from abroad. Please, cut off the supply of money, arms and aviation fuel reaching the Burmese military.

Please don’t repeat this mistake again. EU, USA, UK, ASEAN and other countries must not support such sham processes like they did after the Burmese military’s 2010 election. Instead support the people’s struggle for genuine peace and real freedom built on equality and self-determination.

During the fake peace process, the Burmese military was able to buy more weapons and fighter jets, that they now use to attack our people. During the fake reform, the Burmese military escalated their attacks in ethnic areas, committed genocide against the Rohingyas and had another coup in 2021.

We have been there before, where the Burmese military had sham elections in 2010, then followed by U Thein Sein fake reform. The international community lifted sanctions and supported this sham process, which has enabled the Burmese military to receive more revenues and built more military power.

W call for stronger measures to support the genuine democratic movement, including ethnic resistance organisations, and to endorse the people’s struggle for genuine peace built on equality and self-determination. International governments should support and recognise the bottom up federalism...

ASEAN must unequivocally reject the Burmese military's sham election. ASEAN must not send observers or provide any form of technical or political support to the Burmese military. ASEAN must stand firmly in solidarity with the people of Burma.

British government must resume sanctioning the Burmese military. The failure of UK to continue imposing sanctions will have been noticed and have provided encouragement for the Burmese military at a time when they are escalating attacks ahead of sham elections. burmacampaign.org.uk/british-gove...

“People in Burma are working hard to survive and resist this Burmese military. We know the Burmese military could not survive without international support. That is why we ask governments around the world to cut that support, including arms, revenue, equipment, and aviation fuel.”

Stop supporting war criminals, the Burmese military. This brutal military could not survive without support from other countries. Governments must impose more targeted sanctions to help stop Burmese military offensives. Stop arms, revenue, equipment and aviation fuel going to the Burmese military.

As long as the Burmese military exists, there can never be real peace.

The UK, EU, USA and other governments must impose more targeted sanctions to help stop Burmese military offensives and limit their ability to carry out these deadly airstrikes. Stop arms, revenue, equipment and aviation fuel going to the Burmese military.

Burmese military airstrike in Bleet Dawei (aka Tenasserim) in Southern part of Burma, 14 October 2025, destroyed a building and injured civilians. The Burmese military has been escalating airstrikes and offensives in Kawthoolei Karen areas as well as across Burma ahead of their sham elections.
