To be fair. The law doesn't literally say that it is banning pride flags and allowing swastikas. It restricts the display of flags to officially approved flags, and the Nazi and Confederate flags can be temporarily displayed for educational and historical purposes.

I get why it is interesting. I even get why it is hard in the soft sense. But when you take the leap into "it is a logical impossibility", you lose me -- hard.

Somebody needs to explain "The hard problem of consciousness" to me like I was a 5-year-old. I have read, listened to, and watched everything I can on the subject, and I just don't get it.

Not at all crackpot, imo. Modern life can feel like a constant struggle against uncaring systems enormously larger than any individual, which very naturally contributes to a sense of powerlessness. Ultimately not a stable basis for a democratic society.
