Vote tallies confirmed: Voting to increase the mayor's pay were councillors Linda Busuttil, Katherine Hauser, Cathy Downer and Dan Gibson. Councillor raises were supported by councillors Phil Allt, Erin Caton, Gibson and Downer, along with Guthrie.

Contacted by GuelphToday, city officials declined to say what the average dollar value is for an 8.04 per cent tax increase until after the board budgets have been presented to council.
