Photo of the 'Phantoms of Fear' Fighting Fantasy paperback, with an insanely demonic cover by Ian Miller, featuring a green monster snarling red monsters out of it's mouth and nostrils.

I loved these as a kid (and still do), but THIS was absolutely the one for me. That cover and the inside illustrations by Ian Miller were formative stuff, they warped my mind forever and set me on the path of being an impoverished artist. So, thanks, I guess!

Friendly reminder from a random ink slinger: if someone asks you to "remain calm" or to "not give them what they want" during this sadness, they too have a vested interest in keeping violence as an exclusive monopoly of the state and they too are never to be trusted.
