Food Not Bombs Saskatoon Punk fundraiser in support Ashwin Poggenpoel’s family. On June 18, 2022, Ashwin Poggenpoel, a young Black man in Saskatoon, was killed by police while seeking help during a mental health crisis. Five officers violently arrested him under Section 20, leading to his death.
