Now that I've been doing CrossFit for 5 months & WFH fulltime, my wardrobe has changed. Outfits revolve around (1) comfort yet could look professional, (2) what's form fitting, not too clingy, yet stretchy & easy to move in,(3) what reminds me of what the officers on the Bridge of NCC 1701-D.

OK OK OK, I'll cave. I have a very serious thought I've been avoiding sharing, until now.

...museums, farmers markets, hiked, camped, saw parades, fireworks, grilled outside, walked downtown, saw Broadway shows, watched baseball games, and I loved every minute of it. Now that I live in Hagerstown, I'm hearing the same things about Baltimore.

I'm no stranger to hearing people badmouth a big city in a mostly rural state. So many times people said Louisville was dangerous, crime-ridden, had high murder rates, was dirty, and too big. I LIVED THERE 20+ YEARS and only ever heard these comments from people who didn't. I went to restaurants...

🤦‍♀️ i just moved from a city that had a Trader Joe's and a Whole Foods (and a few local organic stores) to being an hour from anything like that. HOWEVER... I already have a few things to get if/when we go, and I will add this to the list. ❤️ Thank you!

Middle of my 3rd month of CrossFit and I haven’t lost weight, and I can’t really see any change yet. I’m able to increase weight (dumbbells, etc), and I’m not quite as sore as I used to be on the daily, so there’s some pluses.

Trying not to be discouraged, I know this takes time, but c’mon man….

this sounds delicious! i'll gladly hunt for these, but do you have any brands you might recommend that might make them easier to find?

So my stress level & anxiety are high cuz *gestures around*. How am I handling it w/o alcohol? I've gone from 3 to 4 days a week of CrossFit, meditating in the morning, coffee consumption has increased, and I'm searching for the right sleep supplement. I grew up in small town western Kentucky, and I can’t remember how many raptures I was told about. My family never “prepared” for them, but I had adults around me who talked about it. A lot. My friends and I always thought it was weird. #rapture

So, apparently we have a swarm of raptors coming our way n a few days.

We’ve cancelled our subscription, and I couldn’t even give my real reason. These stories shaped my sense of wonder & courage, which makes it harder to see Disney surrender those values. Free expression matters, and it’s worth protecting.

Sleeping Beauty was on repeat when I was little, & Star Wars wasn’t far behind. When Disney started streaming, I was thrilled to share those movies with my kiddo. When they acquired Marvel, I was ecstatic. When they got Star Wars, I thought, “This is the Way.”

#crossfit week 8. still not seeing results, but I feel them. slowly upping weight, runs feel more like breaks. schedule has been MWF 7am hour class. today, i feel like I'm missing out on the days I don't go. is this what gym rats feel like? this little band nerd has never felt this before.

Spent Wednesday's lunch break walking around the city park in #Hagerstown. It was a perfect way to spend my time. This space was a much bigger space than I thought. Also, the geese were everywhere and super chill, surprisingly.

Just moved from Kentucky to Maryland. I’m settling in as best I can while waiting for housing to sort itself out. Life is quite topsy-turvy, and starting over in a new community is real weird at 49. Let’s connect on here while I twiddle my thumbs in housing purgatory for a while longer! 😂
