If you are a Maine voter your time may be best spent looking at Mills approval numbers tanking among Dems over recent months. Or the questionable decisions she made recently on the ICE bill and red flag laws. Sure she’s a Grandma who’s never had a Nazi tattoo or a Reddit account but. . .

The worst use of my time would be trying to persuade the army of Bluesky Platner haters that they should vote for Graham. Primarily because the vast majority are not Maine voters. I’ll stick to talking to fellow Mainers and donating to his campaign.

Don’t care how? Don’t care enough to listen to everything that Platner has said and read all that has been written about his tattoo and his Reddit posts and come to my own decisions? I “care” more than the commenters here who offer no information or perspectives other than shouting “Nazi lover.”

I’m “disqualifying” her because I don’t believe she can beat Collins. Period. That is the goal here. She will run a campaign of “Trump is bad” versus giving people something to vote for which will not work. Collins is a force here-it will be hard for anyone to beat her. Harder for Mills I think.

I’m 53 years old and have been following politics since the Reagan era. There are no “rude awakenings” for me. I can, however, certainly hope for a better system and advocate for that with my vote.

Voters prop up the system by continuing to vote for candidates bought by corporations. I’d say that’s logical-not gullible. And I guess we’ll find out whether Platner can be bought if he wins. What I know is both of his opponents already are.
