We need a constitutional amendment to provide some sort of check - possibly a Congressional supermajority vote that could override a pardon/commutation? Judicial review of pardons? Both?

Trump’s first days back in office/Biden’s last days in office have truly shown us that the presidential pardon power needs to be revisited (and I say that as someone who broadly supported Biden’s pardons, even those of his family).

It’s too ripe to be abused.
