As the Trump administration threatens critical EPA funding, I am fighting to reverse the administration’s harmful attacks on the environment and science.

Clean-up has been complex and the river is still burdened with decades of industrial pollution. Restoring the river is an environmental and economic necessity, and I thank the local leaders who continue to do this important work.

This legislation would block the Trump Administration from deploying federal law enforcement and armed forces to a city unless both the mayor and governor request aid. The legislation also requires clearly displayed identifying information, prevents the use of unmarked vehicles in arrests, and more.
