Yay I'm glad:] yeah random encounters that can be dodged if you try I think are more fun than forced random encounters! The default encounter rate is also adjusted per area to be fair but also we like to think we made a fun combat system that people won't be annoyed with:)

I've been playing this demo lately and I enjoy it a lot! I got it on my wishlist if anyone wants to treat a poor trans when it releases.

I like that I can adjust the encounter rate. I've been playing on 2x for a while.

I'm happy you've been enjoying it! Encounter rate adjustability I feel is a nice accessibility option that I would love to see in more RPGs. Some people don't like random encounters and want to see less of them (especially in puzzle sections) and some people may want more combat:]

Mockingbirds have been the story of the month so far; from June to mid-July i would see them daily, but then they dropped off a lot and August & September I only saw them an average of 5 days per month. October mockingbird sightings are 3/3, a promising looking comeback arc so far🪶
