Inventing the whiny, entitled Millennial
How avocado toast became a weapon of generational warfare that stripped Millennials of the autonomy and capacity to resist.
Here's my new piece. It's a deep dive into why Millennials have been infantilized and why teenagerness has been extended into young adulthood: it's a tool of social control to render entire generations incapable of organizing to fight back.

My desire to be a completionist was destroyed by Inqusition, there were farming and fetch quests that I just did not enjoy and the main quest felt very haphazard because the game was so bloated with sandbox quests. Overall I did like it though! I just have no capacity for games that size anymore.

Inquisition is a really well made game and I enjoyed it a lot. Great environments to explore, great companions, some good plot lines, fun combat mechanics.
But. It's HUGE. I found the sandbox overwhelming and I'd frequently forget wtf is happening in the overall story and it felt pointless?

Now I am looking at my ratings this year and thinking "I should've rated that lower" haha

Oh hahah interesting and I am glad I am in good company. I often get questioned in the lobby at Metro about my ratings and I stress that 3 stars is a good rating from me!

Unpopular opinion: I couldn't get into Lower Decks I found it stressful? π

According to this graph I do give out a lot of four stars for what it's worth!
But if I dislike a movie I am not generous with stars. lol

NextGen is my emotional support show. I am not that big on DS9 tbh. There are incredible episodes but as a whole it didn't work for me.

Hahahah many people tell me that my ratings are harsh! But I have a personal metric/rubric!
I hardly ever give our 5-stars.
3+ stars means the movie was very good!
2-3 stars means it was decent and/or entertaining.
Less than 2 means I found the movie poor quality/bad/I just simply did not like it.

I "grew up" with BioWare RPGs so they always felt really comfortable with them. I love Origins so much, I would suggest just dropping the difficulty down and making sure you pick a character class that you vibe with. Veilguard is excellent and I am so relieved with the game play style.

Babylon 5 is a slow burn for me, the first season has been a bit of a slog but I am told it "gets good" and after watching all of DS9 I am enjoying the comparison.
I am curious how BSG ages because it felt so "of the time" when it was made.
I highly recommend Scavengers Reign too!!!
