Very true. Where I did my undergrad the same was true for GR. It was taught, alternating between astrophysicists and theoretical physicists, year after year. You basically had to pick the year that was good for you.

Quantum as in "solve the Schrödinger equation for an electron in an infinitely deep potential well" etc., I found rather useless. But decent (sub-) atomic physics is quite necessary, I think. Radiative transfer is all about that, after all.

This was the Cluebox Nautilus by iDventure, bought in a kickstarter (along with two others). Now to reassemble!

I was today years old.... Apparently the class of literature that I enjoy very much is called ergodic literature. Takes a while to get through a book: totally fine. S./Ship of Theseus (D Dorst & JJ Abrams) and House of Leaves (MZ Danielewski) were my gateways.
Any other fans here? Any tips?
