Oh absolutely agree, I cannot stand the new "Apps and activities" system, at least with the old bots system you could *actually ban* bots you didn't want, and there was no question of if they'd still work or not.
Now I banned the app ID, and immediately the app still responded as if nothing happened

So a handful of misinformation about this I've seen:
This is an app/bot just like many others, and requires you to have apps and integration turned on server wide

You do NOT need to invite it to your server specifically, it lives in the app list.

Banning the app/bot ids DOES NOT WORK.
