Chainsaw Man is possibly the strongest example I can think of. You can really gather two things about Fujimoto from the series. 1: He want to be killed by hot woman, and 2: He HATES the United States of America, and the story is only ever better for both of those things.

that said, there weren't that many results, so there may be other terms. I'd rather ask some mangaka directly what they might call it, but this is what I have for now.

comments on the original post are off so I'll just quote, but I did a quick look into terminology and it seems the tail is generally called the ツノ or "horn" and this usage is referred to as 逆ツノ or "reverse horn". Searching that can get you a fair few more examples.
