Computer memory prices have skyrocketed 80%-180% in the last month because of shortages due to AI companies buying out DRAM wafers. The sticks I bought in August that I just had to buy for another client build cost almost twice what I paid. And it'll get worse.

Going smaller, Zelda's signature bow looks puny, and in general she looks more like a generic ranger than like a princess.

From all the photos in the article, it looks like there's a lot of effort and love going into the movie, so it *will* be a good movie. But I'm not sure it'll feel like LoZ

These photos are very pretty for live-action, but I think they also exemplify why fantasy really does so much better animated: *nothing* pops here. The background is scenic but it's not "magical", and it's chaotic instead of intentional. The characters are impressive but their colors are drab.

I finished my version of the ultimate DC Metro system on Friday. Eight spoke lines, four and a half loop lines, and the loops/spokes work together to create a real grid in the central part of DC itself.

Once again, I have to point out how obviously inorganic the entire anti-trans backlash is. A handful of billionaires are astroturfing the whole thing with enormous amounts of cash.
