Very powerful image. It resonates as I certainly feel this way quite often. But then I remember in 1793, La Terreur, the reign of terror began. So I’m not so sure a bloody revolution is a good idea. It’s probably better if we can follow Gandhi and avoid violence.

From 1977 the same year as Star Wars (back then just that not A New Hope) it totally channels the sci-fi optimism that 12 year old me felt. From a design perspective the flashy light on the station meshes with their theme. Plus the song Mr. Blue Sky.

I love the symbolism of the black & white split hair (opposite contained within). The face she makes continues the tradition of obscuring her face. Plus Unstoppable is my favorite song of hers.

Also her commitment to the silver theme with diamond bracelets. I like that she had the restraint to not put a necklace on.

I’ve never seen a mermaid dress with a tail it’s cool. I really like how the bodice is shaped. The flow from the strap to the deep V, which seems to flow into the hip the ruching. It’s very flattering for her figure. I particularly like how the earrings color & length mimics the strap of the dress.

I agree. I may actually miss getting up at dawn to take my wife to work, she retired recently. But I probably won’t miss getting up that early 😉😁

All I can say is Gideon the Ninth is a wordy moody book. I’m still not sure if I liked it or didn’t. It’s thought provoking for sure.

That’s just awesome. Butterfly in flight is amazing capture.

Flowers are great and the lens flare adds that extra je ne sais quois.

Celiac sucks. But it’s also beneficial as it reduced carb intake and has forced me to be more creative too. So like everything life throws at one it has good and bad.

Char grilled anything is good 😋. I always look at recipes as a suggestion or starting place. That’s why I tend not to list amounts when I tell people my recipes I figure they should adjust according to their preferences.

Yeah the forests are great too. Oregon is a wonderful place.

I love icicles. But when I lived in Vermont I had an irrational fear they would fall off and impale me. Of course that was a crazy. Now that I’ve lived with them I no longer fear them.

Like Dwight said totally a postcard picture. I love it. I really like great pictures from places I’ve never been.

I hope you get some fruit. Papaya is a great fruit.

Found a newish album #Mika. His debut album, “Life in Cartoon Motion”. IMO Mika approaches The Beatles in musicality, relevance, & inventiveness. He’s definitely one of my favorite, if not favorite, artists of the 21st century. The cover is so joyful and colorful. It also has psychedelic vibes.

It’s hilarious that the censored version for the US is just the background from the real cover. 😁
