The craziest thing is that I know a former ballerina who is married to an actual real life farmer and I kinda want to get her take on this

You mean to tell me a ballerina and her dilettante rich kid husband don’t know a thing about how to produce a food product safely

Bullet hole raises questions about federal authorities' account of shooting

Photographic evidence from the shooting scene of a Venezuelan man by federal agents last month in Minneapolis supports the account of witnesses there β€” and appears to undercut the narrative provided by federal officials.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has repeatedly claimed that an officer fired a single shot in self-defense during a violent encounter involving a shovel and a broom on Jan. 14, shortly after a man fled from a traffic stop during a targeted enforcement effort.

But at a federal court hearing in St. Paul on Tuesday, an attorney for one of the men accused of assaulting that officer showed a federal judge and several reporters photographs on his laptop depicting a single bullet hole through the front door of the north Minneapolis home. Additional photographs show damage consistent with a bullet fragment lodged in a bedroom wall down the hallway β€” suggesting it traveled between a mattress and a portable crib in a room where several small children sleep.

That supports what family members have said all along: A federal agent shot at them through the front door, striking 24-year-old Julio Cesar Sosa-Celis in the thigh, while they were inside the threshold of the residence.

In the last week, two of my favorite restaurants in my hometown have closed and I’m honestly sadder about that than the fact that my grandma died. So it goes.

It doesn't always cover itself in glory but one thing the American legal profession has going for it is most of them have seen Judgment at Nuremberg.

A historic photo of the Greensboro 4.

Feb. 1, 1960, 4 NC A&T students sat-in at the β€œwhites only” counter at Woolworths in Greensboro. Their defiance ignited a movement led to the birth of the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee.

Young people fuel movements. It is inspiring to see that today they still do.

When it happens I think it would be both fun and funny if after the celebrations die down no one ever says the name again or acknowledges he ever existed. Like see how long we can keep it up

Also anyway tl;dr my grandma is dying, finally, except that her body just won’t quit and yes we did make a joke about her determination to make to 100 in April. (But also, Grandma, it’s ok. Go. We love you. It’s ok to go.)

-Through his then in-laws, he met Saul Alinsky and Margaret Mead. (At the same dinner? Unclear.)
-His first MIL went to college/was friends with Rod Serling!

There should be a live β€œPop-up Video” feed of the Grammys that tells you who’s performing, what their backstory is, who they’re feuding/hooking up with, etc. Turn the Grammys into a three-hour crash course in pop culture for clueless older viewers (like, um, me)***
