A few years ago a Linden tree on the boulevard was blown over in a storm and absolutely crushed this tree hydrangea. I cut off the especially sad parts, then let it do its own thing. One of my better life choices, methinks.

Worcestershire sauce is a favorite sauce for me. Years ago I loved the Crosse & Blackwell brand, no longer sold in the US but so good. I find Lea & Perrins kind of mild .... I've added your recipe to my Paprika app for future reference.

I sometimes sub 1/4 cup of chunky jarred salsa for the Rotel and tomato sauce. Softening the squash in the microwave for 3 minutes on high makes it easier to cut.
