The government should adhere to the concept of transitional justice and the founding values of human rights, so as not to involve Taiwan in the Gaza Massacre. -As a strategic partner of the United States, Taiwan should oppose the continued assistance of the United States to Israel and issue a statement condemning Israel for violating the ceasefire agreement and continuing its genocide agenda. -The Ministry of Foreign Affairs should stop all cooperative relations with Israeli units in Taiwan and revoke the diplomatic immunity of Israeli diplomats who beat people in Taiwan so that criminals can be brought to justice. -The Ministry of Economic Affairs should disclose Taiwan's trade records related to Israeli military weapons manufacturing; prohibit the supply of funds, raw materials, components, key technologies and talents for Israeli military weapons manufacturing; stop cooperating with Israeli arms dealers to develop weapons -The Ministry of Culture should cancel the cultural cooperation agreement with Israel and refuse to use culture to whitewash the genocide

Last weekend, ASTR had the privilege of visiting Parihaka thanks to Tuhi-Ao who hosted us. We learnt about some of the critical climate and environmental issues related to dairy farming and the disrespect for the rāhui on collecting kaimoana.
