I managed to push through and finish it in around 35/40 hours. Found some bits great, some bits very mediocre, and a lot of bits downright awful.

To be fair, this is a common pattern. Nintendo get worse until they fail, have a period of contrition, then gradually get worse again.

Yeah, the current guys are very management ultra. There doesn't seem to be a great deal of joy in them and I think the direction of the Switch 2's launch shows.

The only reason it gets 5.5 from me is that I can't deny I've had some guilty pleasure playing the knockout online. Otherwise it'd likely sit at a 4.5 for me.

It was a really well done boss, good telegraphing and just on the right side of a slog

I didn't really have any trouble with the bosses, I was kind of dread(HA!)ing them as I'd heard a lot of complaints but... The final boss was the only real sticking point, and that only took 5 or so tries.

I came to the realisation after watching Toast of London that 90% of the bits I found funny in Father Ted most likely came from Arthur Matthews.
