What I loved about @sequential-scot.bsky.social was how it's centered on the art. They took the bit I like best in a comic con, artist's alley, and scaled it up into a lovely wee artist's village. With that and zine fest last month, we've really been spoiled for indie comic art here recently!

What a day! So, my dad got hit by a car and he's all "I'm dying!" so I said "hi, Dying, I'm Nix" and he's like "no! Call me an ambulance!" and I said "all right, you're an ambulance" He didn't even crack a smile. Anyway, service is on Monday. No flowers.

Thanks to the photo ref site that you set up, I was able to practice my portrait drawing, then I got talking to the model I'd drawn, and they asked to buy my picture to put on their wall, something I'd never done before. You did that. That was enough for me. Thank you!

Watched Marry My Dead Body on Netflix this weekend. It's a Taiwanese film where a cop picks up a funeral envelope and ends up ghost-married to a dead man, so I was expecting something silly and fun but it turned out to be really touching as well.

Phenomenal work of choreographed filming, wasn't it? Couldn't believe how they did it, even during the end credits when they showed behind the scenes stuff. Loved it
