Haven’t been able to draw for myself much lately till I got sick so while I was recovering I drew an updated height guide for two of my oldest characters

Front, back, a left and right profile full body views of a character with shorter top pink hair with grown out roots and asymmetrical bangs, he has a long dark hair from the back braided and pulled over their shoulder. They wear a white crop top with a simple red flower graphic on it, over the shirt is a cool toned grey cardigan with lighter sleeves, if seems to be a bit too big on him and slips off his right shoulder, around their waist is a very large green flannel that is tied over his baggy black jeans which nearly cover their green shoes, around their neck is a small beaded necklace that has white, green, and red beads.

Color concepts of the previous character, one has red shoes and a tan colored cardigan and another has a light green cardigan and yellow flannel. His silhouette is on the right in pink. On the bottom left are a t pose version of the silhouette and a basic sketch. On the bottom right are some doodles of the character, one shows them looking over their shoulder speaking with very little emotion, another is him crying while attempting to smile, and lastly is a chibi esc version of the character sitting down with a hand over their knee

Reign’s story got a major overhaul and so they clearly needed a redesign to match. Now he’s ready to face the horrors he may be inadvertently creating through a strange connection with the woods that surround the town…
and hey wait, didn’t he used to go to school with guy?

There are a couple different parts to this. First, let's start with type design.
All-caps text has a higher visual density because all of the letters are the same height. The available whitespace of a given line of text is most highly filled in for all-caps text compared to mixed-case text.
