The crown has a delicate half-circle pattern with twelve prongs, each with a red gem. The gold color in the crown is made of a gradient, lighter on the inside radiating outward to a darker gold. Inside the crown, the typography reads "wearing a GOLD CROWN will not make you KING." The typefaces used are Cormorant Unicase and Rhau Regular, serifed fonts reminiscent of storybooks and illuminated manuscripts. Around the crown, there is a dotted circle comprised of many small red dots, similar in size to the gems in the crown. At the bottom left and right corners of the composition, there is a pair of light-blue claw marks- a total of ten lines.

This is a cut paper collage comprised of many different ephemera. A woman in an open-back black dress has a murder of crows (some made from gold tea wrappers) circling around her. She looks out onto the Chrylser Building and NYC skyline. Trees, gates, statues, streetlights, and bridges that you might see in Central Park are near/around her. Coming out of her back are bits of feathers and coral reefs that look like blood vessels.

It's my favorite game of all time. I made this collage about it. :) It is so nice seeing it get some love on Bluesky!!

I quit Facebook on Jan. 7 '21. :) That was the only social media I've used. So, I don't have a basis for comparison and I'm only just starting to put my work on the web (and bsky) at all. It's slow going, but it's better than before... which was nothing, lol. I'm trying to be hopeful... not hurried.
