Too soon for theΒ C-word? Okay, I know, it’s waaaaaaaay too early, but bear with me, because this is one Christmas line-up you don’t want to miss. Leave it to everyone else to debate the correct ratio of sherry to trifle, and try to remember what they bought Aunt Marge last year; we’re too busy tripping over bodies in the snow, worrying at the dark shapes at the window, and investigating the odd sounds coming from the attic… Yes, it’s publication day and I am thrilled to announce that Death Comes at Christmas β€” the festive crime and mystery anthology I contributed to β€” is out today in…

Hi Everyone! I'm on the lookout for animation writing work! I have experience writing for preschool, kids and adult animation.

I've spent the last 5 years as a Development Producer and Scriptwriter at Blue Zoo studios, where I've gained a deep knowledge of how to bring an idea to life!

Intriguing word usements seen in the wild this week: β€œdwelledβ€œ instead of β€˜delved’; β€œirremediablyβ€œ instead of β€˜irredeemablyβ€˜; β€œnecroposting” for replying to a super-old post on a forum.

I don't have a huge amount of algorithmic reach (either a social media conspiracy or just based on the innocuous inanity of my posts) but I'm really trying to cheerlead my friend's new visual novel so please do check it out/share to anyone you think would enjoy. Thx 🎩✨️

Aaaand now I’ve read β€˜The Chaos Machine’ by Max Fisher.

Have you read it?

Did it break you and now you’ve descended into a pit of existential despair about the modern age and the future of the human race?

Are you tempted to just add some β€˜moral outrage’ to every single post just to get a like?

Fantastic ending to Baroness Kidron's speech in the House of Lords yesterday, which led to the government's defeat on AI & copyright.

Speaking the UK's creators: "Their property, their labour, is worthy of your protection - because apart from anything else, it is not ours to give away."

Just finished that 'Careless People' by Sarah Wyn Williams. I knew Facebook was rubbish but the depths of the damage that site has wilfully caused all for the money is truly wretched. I had no idea.

Also Sarah is a cracking writer and it's a real page turner. Strong recommend.
