Odious is correct. He is a snake oil salesman trying to sell the dream of an England that never existed and will never benefit those who feel disenfranchised. The media need to place him fully in the spotlight and do some proper investigation, but not holding my breath.

By manipulating the headlines it gives the media another opportunity to bash the government, so they're not too fussed about the actual reasons.

Please just for today say a prayer for the BBC’s Chris Mason.πŸ™πŸ»
This brave & much loved Conservative stormtrooper has fought tooth & nail to bring down a Labour Govt
It didn’t quite work out Chris but you will join the long list of Tory heroes such as Boris & Maggie!
Hero! 😒

It's a vehicle for protest and not true governance, and it will never amount to anything more. There are, though, still too many people who need to give their heads a bang.

It's high time that she was put in her place, and the more unpleasant a place the better.

Hell will freeze over before he does that.

Nigel Farage has declared that he is against working from home.

It's not a surprise given he is never in Clacton.

I think the next few hours/days will decide it, but I really hope that it's not the media as that sets an awful precedent.

Far too positive. This clearly calls for the deadly duo of Chris Mason and Beth Rigby to get involved and give us an alternative version.

You make a fair point. I suspect he was simply trying to write F***ing good ice, but ran out of moisture.

That looks like a very good stout, and one that you've most definitely earned. Keep the faith and keep up your own good work, Warren.

Thank you. I knew there was a reason why the BBC chose her to comment.

I read this and somehow Chris Mason comes to mind.

Jenrick (sorry!), the Traitors (a crazy series!), Hawkwind (for sanity, and space rock rules!).

Agreed. Back in the day the Guardian was my newspaper of choice, but that day has long since gone.

He must have watched a totally different video. However, in the context of a developing police state his comments are extremely worrying.

Perfectly normal attire for American geologists. They will wear exactly the same if they need to look for oil in other countries.

I have this weird vision of Trump taking the role of Tom Cruise, but then remember this is a real incident and not fiction.

A happy New Tear's Eve to you too. I suspect that the authors of Project 2025 would like to push the United States even further back in time.

And, as if on cue, there is an article on the BBC site titled "Why 2026 is Keir Starmer's make or break year". Nothing positive to say but, after all, it's written by the waste of space known as Chris Mason. His master's voice.

True words, although I would be inclined to replace "own" with "supposed".
