Busy stretch of weather for us, but that’s how it seems to go. Behind the scenes at the office today as we briefed public safety folks (school districts, highways/DPWs, emergency management, airport ops, police, fire) on the latest for this winter storm.

I’m 100% convinced in ProbDSS. We’ve been doing it for years and couldn’t imagine going back, both from an internal and external perspective. Everything we’ve done at MKX DSS-wise has been based on direct partner feedback and they understand the info we’ve been putting in front of them.

We have to push out a WSW but we can control what we want to say about the situation via social/wx story/partner emails. Slight shifts in track means big differences in the outcome, so the 1-12” is telling you there’s a bunch of uncertainty.

This is where I’d recommend looking at the messaging that the office is doing rather than just the WSW. That’s where the situation is discussed in more details and what the scenarios are.

It’s the warmup this weekend/early next week I’m not looking forward to. Hoping the euro is correct.

Probably early for the outdoor rink but not much free time the next few weeks means taking a chance. Can’t be worse than last year!
