the unfortunate thing about having things happen in you’re life that don’t meet the “normal timeline of events” for life progression is a deep annoyance and frustration with people who go “oh we don’t normally do this thing for people your age”

I cannot overstate the importance of reading books, particularly novels by respected authors, for critical thinking skills and reading comprehension. If the big gun novelists don't interest you, start small and work your way up. Or read whatever interests you. Just read. Or listen. It's all books.

a small potato complaint, but it drives me crazy when people spell the cat from Kiki’s Delivery Service as “Gigi” instead of the correct “Jiji”. maybe it’s because my name is constantly misspelled, or my own cat is named after the movie, but it takes two seconds to double check spelling.
