The Challenger shuttle disaster that killed 7 crew members was 40 years ago. What happened and how they're being remembered. The diverse 7-member crew included a teacher who was going to teach lessons from space.

Forty years ago, today, the Space Shuttle Challenger exploded in mid air after being launched, killing all 7 crew members; one was a school teacher. It was a sad day for space travel & history.

I've been going out to try my new 200-500mm f5.8 lens on my Nikon D3400. I have so much to learn, but am excited about the opportunity. All constructive criticism and pointers accepted and appreciated. These were all taken the last 24 hrs during the current snow blast in NE Ohio. Over a foot now.

Yes, I'm pretty rural, and although its been cold, there's not been much snow cover and natural sources may be preferred. That's my hope. How do you buy such volumes of seed?

I am surprised how few birds are at my feeders this year. I usually have a lot of variety. I did get to photo a Northern Flicker this morning. Maybe my seed is old......IDK.
