No statement on social media by Keir Starmer on the BBC fiasco. I wonder why π
10.11.2025 19:35 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Like, for example, their very honest and investigative reporting on Brexit? That BBC?
10.11.2025 17:33 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I think you are spot on with this
10.11.2025 14:31 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I used to respect and adore the BBC but since they were effectively pro-Brexit and even banned their journalists truthfully reporting about it my opinion of the BBC has collapsed. However, it shouldn't be up to the US admin to call the shots. This is a dangerous moment for the media in the UK.
10.11.2025 14:28 β π 8 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0"Ursula von der Leyen even "dodged" a meeting requested by Keir Starmer on the sidelines of COP 30 in Brazil, according to the FT. ...the British Prime Minister wanted to meet with the President of the Commission, who declined, to complain about financial disputes."
The "reset" going well π€·ββοΈ
That's wrong. The BBC was very biased on Brexit. Pro-Brexit. So Keir Starmer is wrong or he simply lies.
10.11.2025 14:13 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Except 'Keir' won't do it because he prefers to grovel for a better trade deal and the 'special (fake) relationship'.
10.11.2025 14:11 β π 7 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Now imagine Von der Leyen's speaker would say such a thing
10.11.2025 06:24 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0He was very quick to post. I wonder why. Oh wait hang on he knew the resignations were coming up. He is behind it!

09.11.2025 21:08 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0So about the BBC resignations by Tim Davie and Deborah Turness. Let me have a 'wild' guess:
The Orange is behind this. He forced the government so to speak or there would be heavy consequences for the UK.
"High standard of truth"
That definitely wasn't the case on Brexit. The BBC was biased. Pro-Brexit.
Labour started screwing itself from the moment they came up with 'make Brexit work'. At least for me. That was it. And when I said Lab is effectively *centre-right* I got told off. I still think I'm right about it.
09.11.2025 19:50 β π 10 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Good question. I don't know. It's possible that even with a new leader LAB won't be able to 'renew' itself. LAB moved too much to the right and already lost a lot of 'voter trust'. But if they keep Starmer they have zero chance.
I think the people are really fed up with both Labour and the Tories.
Is she related to Priti Patel, Suella Braverman and Kemi Badenoch. These four could be sisters.
09.11.2025 19:18 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I think Labour would be foolish to go with Starmer into the next election.
09.11.2025 19:16 β π 10 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0More unsure than of Starmer?
09.11.2025 19:15 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0I think UK Labour has started to worry more about Zack Polanski than Nigel Farage.
09.11.2025 18:11 β π 226 π 31 π¬ 19 π 2I have happy plants again after yesterday's rain and cold weather in Sitges. And the sun is back π
09.11.2025 13:13 β π 7 π 1 π¬ 0 π 0Well, 'control of borders' worked out nicely, didn't it? π
09.11.2025 13:00 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It kind of makes you wonder why the majority of the older folks actually voted for Brexit? There must be a specific reason why they hate Europe so much?
09.11.2025 12:52 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 2 π 0So far there isn't even a "reset". On paper that's it. As far as a "review" is concerned all that Labour will want to do is to 'make Brexit work' and cherrypick. Labour is bloody useless.
09.11.2025 12:29 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I could be wrong but I can't quite imagine that those who fought in the wars would have wanted #Brexit.
09.11.2025 12:01 β π 12 π 1 π¬ 5 π 0I don't like Philips. I don't think he's a good political presenter.

08.11.2025 19:48 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Well, arrive earlier. Brexit adds time to flying π€·ββοΈ
