Thanks for your post! Wondering Iβm in Australia, due for a booster in December, the LP.8.1 is registered but not yet available, is it worth waiting for it or should one still just get the available JN.1? Thanks in advance.

I think Butlers office was getting some added pressure last year, so released it just before Xmas. I plan to call my local mp and his office (email as well) as this seems to get them moving. Especially before Xmas! Ps I was the one posting the links on facebook, next time I wonβt be anonymous. π

Very obvious now that SARS-CoV-2 infection can be characterised as: AAA
A: Acceleration (e.g. dementia, vascular)
A: reActivation (e.g. EBV, LTBI)
A: Aging (inflammation, telomere shortening)
Longevity and / or healthspan cannot be fully addressed without understanding this.

βA bomb thrown into the middle of scienceβ: Trump cuts hurt Australian medical research
Local research institutes are suspending projects and laying off staff as US funds dry up.
Our society utterly relies on science, way more than most realise. Itβs a global endeavor like no other. Whatβs happening now is profoundly negative, not just to funding, but to institutions, workforce & culture. Other countries must step up to try and fill the void.

Scourge of coronavirus is still killing the vulnerable.
Research shows undiagnosed Covid cases and the long-term health impacts of the pandemic have driven an enduring decline of life expectancy.
Australia: "Scourge of coronavirus is still killing the vulnerable."
"20 more Australians are dying each day than before the pandemic due to Covid. It sits 5 times higher than the annual road toll, and 10 times higher than seasonal flu deaths."

Measles is much more serious than a rash and fever: it also causes immune amnesia and leaves patients especially vulnerable to secondary infection.
asm.org/articles/201... Measles is unfortunately spreading. Did you know it causes immune amnesia, wiping out previous immunity to other infections and therefore making people more vulnerable to these infections?
