Delighted to share the IEE's 2025 Year in Review. The IEE had an amazing year delivering energy transition assistance to local communities, producing papers on battery storage and thermal energy networks, and getting students ready to make good change.

OPEC+ and Trump Circle Each Other, But US Producers Are Playing Their Own Game With Trump expected to chase increased oil exports and more drilling in the US, OPEC+’s fear of losing market share looms larger than ever.

I was quoted in The Daily Upside on the conflict between OPEC+ and U.S. oil production goals. I don't see the economics or geology to support any immediate major boost in production. The numbers don't add up.

It is so much fun to watch our students enjoy their successes and celebrate their accomplishments. I am proud to belong to a community of changemakers and to watch my students grow into incredible lawyers and advocates.
