Sandra Bullock is a comic genius, and when you add in Michael Caine on brilliant form, it is a thing of beauty.

He’s your classic middle class, entitled bully. Jovial and engaging until you cross him in any way, and then the mask slips. That’s who he really is, not the character he plays for television.

(3) I had Play Pie Pint in mind when writing it. It’s very much in their mould; one act play, under an hour in length and 3 actors. But you are right, that’s also a great fit for the festival. Will try PPP first and will do an update if it gets picked up.

It was inspired by an article I read about a woman whose best friend had abruptly ghosted her (she claimed to have no idea why), so she was going through a grieving process that was largely not acknowledged as nobody had died. 2/?

(1) Premise is that some people are unable to ‘move on’ after death, as tethered by unresolved issues with loved ones, so the afterlife provides an opportunity for a final meeting (a last supper) person concerned. In this case a woman gets to meet a former best friend 1/?
