Headlight laws, seat belts, even speeding laws are used to give police a reason to stop and ticket whole groups disproportionately to others as in white people. Also the ability to get representation is not the same for everyone.

I see women who write these books gleefully call it smut. I hate the term when it's used for anything with sex in it but they seem to emphasize it being "smut" and want their readers to call it that, so I can't at all blame this on mainstream media.

I am doing a full relisten and re eye read of @mariankeyes.bsky.social outstanding series about the Walsh sisters. Right now I am into Rachel's Holiday and I feel like I will be needing this kind of holiday soon if this keeps up.
