Also for all the hyping up of “the theatrical experience” other writers forget that some audiences are just The Worst and the cost.

As a film journalist it’s frustrating to me that a lot of other writers either pretend like COVID, the WGA/SAG-AFTRA strikes and pivots in viewing habits haven’t happened or haven’t had a impact on the film industry.

I mean, if you’re going to follow up on the symbiote tease from No Way Home, this is the best way to do it.

Another fun superhero/sports fact; Peter Parker is a Mets fan because his Uncle Ben would take him to Mets games when he was a kid.

You know, a new Fantastic Four cartoon would greatly be beneficial for Marvel Animation right now. A lot of stuff can be done for Earth-828 or whatever variant universe like Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man did.

Lowkey I would love an animated series that covers the four years prior to First Steps. Especially with all the villains that got name dropped.

This is how you know Shakman was a huge F4 fan - actively going to the source to confirm something is peak fandom.

Plus the Dodgers do seem like the team Ben would root for.

Our obsession with film budgets is weird. Declaring a film a success or failure after a week doesn't take into consideration rebates, digital sales or secondary windows.

Studios aren't honest about finances and most "experts" are guessing.

A friend shared this link with me and Lindelof says something that I feel a LOT of film fans online should listen to: namely, stop going in arms crossed and trying to outsmart a movie and go in for the experience.

Honestly, if some people acted in real life the same way they did on Twitter or Bluesky, nobody would want to go to the movies with them, be friends with them, and they'd probably get a few punches in the face.

TMNTs Raph and Marvel's the Thing, back to back, wearing their characteristic trenchcoats

This is the year of correcting comic adaptation wrongs in film! First, Superman and now Fantastic Four. That is now you do them. This is easily in my top 5 of best MCU films. Also, can we talk about the renaissance that Natasha Lyonne is having in TV and film? Anyways, easy recommend! Now a nap.

I really enjoyed Fantastic Four as well! That was probably the first Marvel comic series I fell in love with, reading my uncles' old Silver Age issues from the early 1960s, so it was nice to see a movie with that retro vibe.

The Ultimate vibes in this costume are strong and I love it!

Animated ‘Eyes of Wakanda’ is a worthy, but too short, addition to the MCU This Ryan Coogler-produced “Black Panther” spinoff is gorgeous, inventive and often thrilling. It’s also over just as it’s finding its rhythm.
