I just think its amazing that Ditko casually designed this more than 60 years ago and it is still one of the best designs ever.

It’s no surprise that people are staying home.
1. Covid shutdown
2. Two prolonged strikes (a self-inflicted wound by Hollywood)
3. Streaming changing viewing habits forever
4. Inflation
5. Trump chaos and uncertainty
6. Foreign box office is affected by all of these
7. China is no longer reliable
8. People have terrible theater etiquette
As a film journalist it’s frustrating to me that a lot of other writers either pretend like COVID, the WGA/SAG-AFTRA strikes and pivots in viewing habits haven’t happened or haven’t had a impact on the film industry.

You know, a new Fantastic Four cartoon would greatly be beneficial for Marvel Animation right now. A lot of stuff can be done for Earth-828 or whatever variant universe like Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man did.

It’s fun to make things guys. It might not be polished, but it’s fun and most importantly it’s YOU.
03.08.2025 21:16 — 👍 3 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Make something. Do it now. Doesn't matter if it's polished or not. Make something because nobody has ever seen the world the way you do, and nobody will again. Make something because art is simply that which is authentically expressed. Let beauty take care of itself

Our obsession with film budgets is weird. Declaring a film a success or failure after a week doesn't take into consideration rebates, digital sales or secondary windows.
Studios aren't honest about finances and most "experts" are guessing.
Relax. Did you like the movie or not?

If ever there was a post that sums up talking about Spider-Man online, this is it
(It’s also pretty funny)
A tweet: "I kind of adore Spider-Man fans — they'll go the mattresses over how one version is PEAK and another is SAUCELESS and the two versions in question will be like" and then I post two drawings of marginally different Spider-Mans
