Right now it's pretty rare for me to have alone time at home when I'm not working. But when I do have alone time, I am unable to function. I used to make art, do projects, watch movies - now I just sit and stare and sometimes cry.

I had a wonderful long birthday weekend, with a trip to Tecumseh for tea and fancy cheeses, a backyard fire, time spent in the garden and running garden errands, and putting together more of the basement to hang out in throughout the summer. Finding a rug that really tied the room together.
