Just found out that Gandi (which used to be the best domain company) was acquired by a shady company that jacked up prices.

Now I’m looking for a good domain provider with .es domains, hardware security key 2FA, and based in Europe (most likely Netim).

There’s a long-standing idea that implicit throw/catch isn’t as practical as it seems, and errors should be returned explicitly (as in Go).

For TypeScript, a proposal suggests returning either a value or an error so the type system enforces handling.

I like their DX.

Does it have linear growing pricing when your project age going to have more and more clients?

RFC 9449: OAuth 2.0 Demonstrating Proof of Possession (DPoP) This document describes a mechanism for sender-constraining OAuth 2.0 tokens via a proof-of-possession mechanism on the application level. This mechanism allows for the detection of replay attacks wit...

What I don’t like about DBSC is that the cookie has to be continuously refreshed via a separate HTTP request.

The DPoP approach, where you simply re-sign the cookie+timestamp on every request, seems simpler.

Chrome is introducing a new mechanism to prevent session cookie theft.

The cookie is short-lived and must be renewed using a key stored in the device’s TPM. Even if someone extracts it, they won’t be able to reuse it.

Took this route recently for a side project (hetzner+coolify) instead of vercel and been pretty happy.

Vercel-like hosting is bad because as your project grows, the price grows exponentially.

AWS and Google Cloud have terrible DX and UI.

Seems like, the best option is to rent a VPS and install an open-source Vercel alternative (Coolify or Dokploy).

First three acts of the 2026 Chinese New Year’s gala:
1. A comedic sketch featuring robots
2. Robots perform wushu
3. A song about China’s AI breakthroughs with dancing robots

Looks like the Communist Party accepted having one of the lowest birth rates and replace the population with robots.

YouTube video by Aevy TV This New Drug Can Stop Your Balding. But There's A Catch

A video about treatments for male pattern baldness does a surprisingly good job capturing what men feel when they’re going through it.

This is what body positivity should look like once progressive movement stop ignoring men’s issues.

We use these proteins to make snow artificially.

Recent data suggests the species plays a bigger role than previously thought in the formation of rain and snow. They’ve also been found in hailstone cores.

Snow cannons at ski resorts rely on the discovery of the bacterium Pseudomonas syringae.

It has a protein that’s an excellent ice-nucleation site, which makes water freeze at higher air temperatures. The bacterium uses ice to weaken the plant so it can infect it later.

Republicans in Mississippi passed a law that’s even worse than the UK’s Online Safety Act: it requires all users to verify their age to use social media.

Only Bluesky and Mastodon have spoken out against it publicly. Musk and Durov are staying silent.

I added Claude Code to the @zed.dev UI via the ACP protocol (you can integrate many agents this way).

It’s much easier to read than a monospaced console, and reviewing diffs directly in the editor.

Also, I add a GNOME extension that shows usage limits.

This is a bit sad: @aella.bsky.social, who writes brilliantly about science and sex, says she’s doing better sex research as an outsider enthusiast than universities.

Most studies survey only ~400 people (for comparison, she surveyed 900K).
