yeah personally, the local tv habit just not there after fully cutting the cable cord years ago, I only seek them out during extreme weather events and I do that via social media or their websites.

well then it took them 7 years to get organized, but I do appreciate the effort

N.J. drone sightings rejected by the feds. Are they gaslighting us? The federal response to the drone sightings is a "textbook case of exactly how misinformation happens."

and of course social media has cranked the noise up to 11 when you try and go find original reports from people on the ground

its very disorienting when you live here and you aren’t even seeing them in the sky yourself, but everyone is texting asking if you have

most interesting: difference between how local media have covered this, talking to concerned state and local officials, as well as citizens who first saw the drones, vs national newspapers trying to parse the federal response (which has been really funky) and cable tv making hay of it

I didn’t mean to imply it’s not on the local TV news. Like a lot of folks, I don’t watch those so likely why I missed it. A quick search turned up plenty of coverage.

despite living in NJ, I found out about these drones from family in TX who have Fox News on all day
