04.02.2026 21:32 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0he was quite fun! especially with rifling those red zone darts on I think Day 3?
04.02.2026 21:32 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0that's about all I got for this one. appreciate those who chose to read this far, if at all. stay tuned throughout the offseason for more of my thoughts about the 2026 rookie class, and be sure to follow me on here to stay in the loop when I have cool stuff drop. hooray ๐ !
04.02.2026 21:15 โ ๐ 7 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0plenty of folks probably only saw Malachi Fields as an X entering the event, but the diversity in his routes (showcasing more short) and ability to display stronger separation from DBs by the end of practice sessions was far too good to ignore. someone's gettin' a dawg in him.
04.02.2026 21:15 โ ๐ 5 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0someone like Kevin Coleman would be intriguing to see replace [for example] WanโDale Robinson if the Giants decide to let the dynamo walk in free agency; something *like* that for him plays in the NFL for sure. if you're lookin' for vibes from within my mind's eye, that's where I see it.
04.02.2026 21:15 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0at WR, both Malachi Fields (Notre Dame) and Kevin Coleman (Mizzou) were faves who can win on multiple levels and project well for fantasy. before expanding, though, here are other ๐ guys:
- Reggie Virgil, Texas Tech
- Cyrus Allen, Cincinnati
- Josh Cameron, Baylor
- Tyren Montgomery, John Carroll
predicting NFL roles for RBs is difficult, though, so estimates of capability only go so far. but at least in terms of Jaydn Ott, I am reasonably confident he "back" to the 2023 Cal version of himself rather than the hurt/ineffective player we saw between 2024-25 โ a real ๐ in my eyes.
04.02.2026 21:15 โ ๐ 6 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0at the RB spot, those I considered the most exciting with either three-down capability *or* the traits required to see significant touches in an NFL backfield were:
- Kaytron Allen, Penn State
- Mike Washington Jr., Arkansas
- Jaydn Ott, Oklahoma
(HONORABLE MENTION: Nick Singleton, Penn State)
I also really like the future for Illinois QB Luke Altmyer as a viable backup. with Altmeyer, the โpopโ isnโt the reward; the evident feel for the tempo required to operate a horizontally-oriented system at a basic level is. heโll hang around on the strength of competence.
04.02.2026 21:15 โ ๐ 5 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0to clarify, based solely on early practice sessions in Mobile, I wasnโt terribly impressed with Nuss; Pavia looked more dynamic more often โ thatโs more of where my initial feelings came from. but after Day 3โs practice and the proper Senior Bowl itself, only one of โem did anything to remember.
04.02.2026 21:15 โ ๐ 4 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0despite initial concern, Garrett Nussmeier is absolutely a better quarterback than Diego Pavia when both are at their best. the vision of a passable NFL starter is 100% there with the LSU product, and despite having said that I see the โprojectโ vibes from Pavia, I was admittedly overzealous.
04.02.2026 21:15 โ ๐ 6 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 0aight, here goes nothin' โ time for the #SeniorBowl Mega-Thread No One Asked For:

It's that time again, folks. One team a day - every day - until free agency!
We're looking at the depth chart, scheme, cap space, contracts, etc. of the offensive weapons to see what advantages we can get for dynasty and early best ball.

03.02.2026 20:12 โ ๐ 9 ๐ 1 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 2Difficult to say with such limited exposure, but there's absolutely something there. The only thing I have to compare it to from personal experience is how Ryan Flournoy rocked it a couple years ago. Montgomery legitimately did quite well; the rest is development and adapting footwork.
