Could you please explain why?

Last I checked, Chinas car sector gained global prominence thanks to a web of tariffs, subsidies, forced tech transfer and gov innovation support.
How’s EU regulation to blame?

Yesterday, we finally took the last step in the EU's ECT journey. With the inter-se agreement, fossil fuel investors will lose a major tool in their arsenal to threaten the EU and Member States taking climate measures affecting their energy investments.

“But mining for nickel - an ingredient in electric vehicle batteries and in stainless steel”
You might think that EV batteries were the main source of demand.
In fact, stainless steel is responsible for 2/3 of nickel demand. Batteries? Less than 5%.
Not a helpful debate. If the EU is serious about clean industrial strategy, all tools need to be on the table.
Instead of clutching its pearls over production aid or Buy EU rules, the EU needs a sector-by-sector discussion on where and how they could be useful. on.ft.com/4k7mefL

One of the coolest features of the Agami Heron is its gorgeous, flowing crest that flutters as it poses and preens. But I've never seen it up close before with the details and textures.

Why does Maga world hate Europe?
Guy Chazan brilliantly unpacks the ideological war the current US administration is waging against the EU, but what drives that impulse is the EU being THE only counterpower that stands in the way of

I can’t help but scratch my head at the anti-green, deregulation rhetoric currently circulating in Germany.
Rationalising regulations, like supply chain reporting, makes sense — but halting investments is self-defeating for the West’s key clean tech hub.
Let's review a few facts.
