Nothing exciting, really. TTRPGs, medieval reenactment, woodworking, programming, philosophy, and a whole lot of reading.

I saw 8mm once and it has stuck with me ever since.

Especially when Machine takes off his mask. "What did you expect to see, a monster?"

I have been thinking about that with names in the Epstein documents.

If only there were some sort of point system we could use to determine the better team.

It is so nice when someone expresses what you have been thinking, but couldn't quite articulate.

Which is to say those toxic MGTOW incels probably would benefit from a good project.

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be in their current predicament if they did anything other than whine about things, but they don't realize toxic masculinity isn't masculinity.

I helped a friend of mine process the grief of his wife's passing with a big woodworking project. We learned how to make hollow core trestle tables that look wonderfully medieval. We took a few roadtrips to a friend's shop in West Virginia.

He has since found love again.

The first smartphones were world breaking. Just like the first home PCs back when I was a kid.

Everything since then has been an attempt to recapture that magic, but nothing has.

I'm not sure about any visual art done about the series, but there's a character in it named Cellur who's this old guy who builds mechanical birds.

I'm guessing decorative stitch marks for leatherworking. I'd guess it wasn't used hot or anything. Just pressure to drive the points through the leather so you can stitch through them instead of marking them and making the holes with an awl.

Finally on to God's Junk Drawer by @peterclines.com. I got the audiobook because Ray Porter is a national treasure and I'd totally listen to him read stereo instructions.

I'm at the point where I've just met the cast of characters and have developed strong opinions about who I want to survive.

I was so disappointed I didn't see a movie on opening night again for two decades.

Hey... HEY.

We all know that cravings for vices doesn't just go away.

We talk about the giant billionaire sex trafficking ring like it's in the past.

What are they doing NOW that the Epstein/Maxwell chain is broken?

Follow the money and find their current living victims.

I just discovered a mysterious drip coming from my toilet's feed valve. Could be the valve or the line. Not sure yet.

So in comparison, not nearly as bad. Glad it happened before you got in.
