If I were a think piece writing (or video essay) type person, I’d mix the Oprah “no contact” convo with this - Frankenstein: The Horror of Dealing With an Emotionally Immature Father. (I’m sure Victor would have LOVED the creature to go No Contact.)

The horror movie this Thanksgiving was Frankenstein (2025). That was a beautiful film - even the grime and gore of the castle. The “monster” felt a tad too…like with a good stylist he could be in a boy band. At times, he looked Bowie-esque. All in all, I enjoyed it.

Watching a generic-ish horror movie about a haunted doll, dad doesn’t believe, etc - and I’m thinking, “The doll is annoying but your husband is THE curse.”

Got out for an early showing of The Naked Gun - t’was funny in a strangely delightful way. Now, for some odd reason, I want a cup of coffee. 😆
(If you take kids to see this, be quick with the hand over the eyes or ya might have some explaining to do.)

The #chomptochat ratio of the new #JurassicPark movie was a little disappointing (to much talking, not enough Dino chewing). Breath mints got crunched on more than people. 😆

Because it was on sale with tons of positive reviews, I bought The Roottrees Are Dead and had a great time! It feels like an interactive mystery novel. Uncover clues and piecing together the family lore was fun - the secrets, the scandals, the music. Definitely recommend this game.

It is amazing how shop owners in Hallmark movies almost never discuss $ when they are asked to do things - especially at the last minute.
