Residents of Yazoo City, Mississippi, are being ordered to shelter in place after an ammonia plant exploded at C.F. Industries, which produces nitrogen products, including ammonia and fertilizer.

Some residents and businesses were ordered to evacuate, including a nearby Walmart.

Early this morning, I cranked up the car and a D'Angelo song was on. I sang along, as usual. Hours later, I find out he's gone. I'm so done for the day.

He deserved to grow old. He deserved the space to be more creative and share more art w/ the world. He deserved to be adorned in praise while he was still able to receive it in the physical. Luckily, music and spirit is eternal.

RIP Michael Eugene Archer aka D'ANGELO. 🕊️

After the success of the Brooklyn Bowl show, they ran it back in Philly at the Theater of the Living Arts on June 3, 2013. Once again, someone grabbed the audio and archived it. You gotta remember that D'Angelo was very out of the public eye at this time. People were FIENDING for this.

Heartbreaking: Neo-soul legends Angie Stone and D’Angelo both passed away in 2025, just 7 months apart. Stone died in March at 63. D’Angelo died today at 51. They shared a son together. An entire generation’s soundtrack, gone. Rest in power to both 🕊️💔
