I tend to agree tbh. WRC cars are limited to quite a low top speed compared to what the Nordschleife is used to, and I'm sure there's other tarmac roads they could use instead that would highlight the true abilities of the talented drivers and cool cars

At least Adelaide isn't a winner-takes-all scenario like Phoenix, the most consistent overall driver will still probably claim the title. That's what makes the potential of NASCAR playoff changes for next year a bit exciting!

These Supercars are super reliable, so it's bizarre to see Ryan Wood and WAU have two mechanical failures in consecutive races, once running P2 at Bathurst and now while leading at Surfer's. Now that sucks.

I can't believe it's been 14 years since Marco Simoncelli died at Sepang. And iirc, it was one week after Dan Wheldon passed away at Las Vegas. I remember that period of time so vividly, losing two larger-than-life characters that could not, and have not, ever been replaced. 🕊️
